Biblica and Kerygma Digital have recently come to a favorable arrangement for us to continue to provide Biblica’s translation catalogue on BibleBot.
What does this mean for me?
This means that if you were a user of the following translations, they are now available again:
- New International Version (NIV)
- Nueva Versión Internacional (NVI)
- La Bible du Semeur (BDS)
- Священное Писание (Восточный Перевод) (CARS)
- Священное Писание (Восточный перевод), версия с «Аллахом» (CARSA)
- Священное Писание (Восточный перевод), версия для Таджикистана (CARST)
If you haven’t changed your preferences since the translations were removed, no action is required and the bot should resume using these versions. If you changed them to something else, feel free to switch back. 🙂
Please note that we have not restored New International Version – UK (NIVUK), New International Reader’s Version (NIRV), and Nova Versão Internacional (NVI-PT) as they are outside of our licensing agreement. If these translations are beloved by you, let us know!
